In Ramona Quimby, she once received new pajama's and was so amazed at the softness and fluffiness of them that (usually had beezus's hand-me-downs) she wore them to school under her clothes....there is a whole chapter on how hot she got in the layers of clothing and the aftermath and you can read the book if your curious...
Our Ramona just got new jammies...she hasn't asked to wear them under her clothes but she does love them and is it possible that at 8 months...a baby knows when they look a-dorable in something?

Wow, Ramona, and I thought my new red plaid nightgown was pretty upscale but your new jammers top my night wear--and I'm pretty impressed with the bunny slippers too.
And boy, do you and your mom have the same wide open eyes qand eyes of a very pretty color too-
